Last night’s Annie Awards show was a hit from beginning to end. Patrick Warburton with his funny dry wit and impeccable timing. Cloris Leachman was Off The Hook! And Tom Kenny, her hilarious partner in crime…comedy, kicked off the show with giant laughs! (I hope the young, student film, winner found her shoes.)
I had a great time announcing and meeting all the talented folk. ASIFA honored me again with the red carpet treatment and a bow on stage. This year, on stage I got to speak Japanese and introduce the presenter of the Windsor McCay award for Steven Spielberg. Yes, you read that right, I spoke in Japanese. If you missed the show, or live feed, you’ll just have to catch the re-run to see that bit.
I also had a ball taking “selfies” with some of the celebs and winners backstage. I’ve included a few of the shots from the evening. Enjoy!
