MLBB – Ruby aka Little Red Hood

There is a line I got to record for Ruby’s brand-new Exorcist skin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang that I think about regularly. Like, more than is probably normal. It lives in my head rent-free and I have absolutely zero complaints about that.
Ready? Here it is:

“This body ain’t bad. It just needs a growth spurt.”

Ruby in her new skin is a demon. Possessing a small body. Completely unbothered. Fully committed to the bit. Already planning her glow-up. That is the most Ruby/me thing I have ever read on a page and I was DELIGHTED to bring her to life. Let me tell you everything.

So — what IS the Ruby Exorcist skin?

Yup. Anyone who has met me in person, totally gets that! 😆

The Ruby Exorcist skin is part of MLBB’s highly anticipated Exorcists 3.0 event, dropping in May 2026 alongside new Exorcist skins for Saber and Phoveus. The Exorcist series is one of Mobile Legends’ most beloved cosmetic events — the Exorcist series features members who are humans enlightened by the Eterna with the ability to use exorcism skills to fight Soul Eaters, and it’s been a fan favorite since the original Kagura and Yu Zhong skins launched the whole thing.

But here’s the delicious twist with Ruby’s version: the new Exorcist skins are flipping the script from the original polished “cool ghost hunters in a neon city” aesthetic into something way darker and more intense — and fans are already asking whether these new characters are actually the Exorcists, or the demons getting hunted.

With Ruby? Based on that line? I think we all know the answer. She’s the demon. She’s in a small body. And she is thriving.

A little about me — hi if we’re just meeting!

I’m Dina Sherman, a voice actress with credits across anime, animation, video games, and more. You may know me as the English dub voice of Yachiru Kusajishi in Bleach — another small, chaotic, absolutely iconic character (I have a type, apparently).

I’m also the English voice of Ruby in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, which means I’ve spent considerable time in a recording booth being fierce, scrappy, and dramatic on behalf of one very determined Little Red Hood. You can find my other credits here on my website or specifically, on my resume page. https://www.dinasherman.com/resume/

What it’s like voicing a character in a new skin

People sometimes ask whether a new skin means new voice work, and the answer is: sometimes yes, and when it’s yes, it is one of the best days in the recording booth. A brand new skin — especially one that reimagines a character’s whole vibe — means new lines, new attitude, and a new lens on someone you already love.

Standard Ruby is fierce, determined, a little tragic, carrying the weight of her grandparents’ deaths and a personal vendetta against every wolf in the Land of Dawn. She’s scrappy and real.

Exorcist Ruby? She’s a demon who woke up in that body and immediately started making plans. The energy is different. She’s not burdened — she’s scheming. Reading those lines for the first time was one of those moments where you just grin in the booth because the writers absolutely rocked it.

Why the Exorcists 3.0 event is worth your diamonds

Okay, I did a little research here:

The Exorcists 3.0 event uses a Gacha draw system where each draw costs 50 diamonds, with a 50% discount on the first draw of each day — dropping it to just 25 diamonds. There are two premium supply phases running through May 2026 that together grant 58 free draw tokens, which significantly reduces the investment needed to pull the skin.

Beyond Ruby, whether you’re a Phoveus main finally getting a worthy skin, a Saber enthusiast looking for a non-mecha option, or a Ruby player ready to terrorize the EXP lane in style — the Exorcists 3.0 update genuinely has something for everyone.

And look. I’m obviously biased. But the Ruby Exorcist skin gives dangerous fun vibes, the lines are a blast, and getting to bring a demon-possessing-a-tiny-body to life is exactly the kind of chaos I got into voice acting for.

Final thoughts from your friendly neighborhood demon voice

Every new skin is a gift — a chance to revisit a character you love and find something new in them. Ruby Exorcist gave me a demon with unshakeable confidence, big plans, and absolutely no patience for anyone who underestimates her based on height.

Honestly? Same, Ruby. Same.

If you’re an MLBB player, go watch the skin short, save up those diamonds, and get ready to take over the EXP lane with full demon energy. And if you’re new here and found this through a Ruby deep-dive — welcome! Stick around. There’s plenty more voice acting chaos where this came from. ⚔️🔥
