New Game

Last week I enjoyed recording for a new kid’s game that is about to be launched. It is all still on the hush hush, but I played the younger version of a popular animated movie character. Hopefully, the “well known” clients will give me the go ahead to bla bla blog, very soon!

Ring – Your Mother

This is your mother calling…. Oh did I feel sorry for my not-quite-out-of-the-closet-yet, friend. He was hosting a small dinner party at his apartment and introducing us to his new “friend” when the phone started ringing. Having company, he let it go to the machine. Unfortunately, the speaker was up and we all got a lovely…

Ring – White Zone

The white zone…. I was announcing the Annie Awards a year or so ago, and Tom Kenny was hosting. He was so gracious to introduce me to the audience, as the voice they’d been hearing all evening. He then asked me to do that thing that I do that he really likes, “You know, that thing.”…

Ring – Pick Up

A fan favorite! Pick up or delivery??? I went into my favorite, local, Chinese restaurant. Tonight I chose to dine in and was totally entertained with the owner’s phone conversation. Apparently, there was a  bad connection and the owner was really trying to find out if the customer wanted pick up or delivery. And I thought,…

Ringtone-UGLY

Oh yea! The mean girl cheer! Ready…Okay! While traveling through some remote cities in Budapest, I caught a local game of Football. They actually had a rally squad on the side lines. The tune they were cheering was really catchy and soon we were all caught up in the spirit! It was so much fun…

Motion Capture – A whole new world

I met Reuben Langdon and Mari Ueda at Just Cause Productions, yesterday. What an amazing facility and incredibly nice people. I am so grateful for the time they spent explaining their world. As a primarily voice over artist, I am very interested in this relatively new arena of Motion Capture – mocap, also called performance capture…but no…

Emmy Judging

Was at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – the Emmys, this morning, judging the college television awards. I’m not allowed to discuss the categories or winners, but I do have to say, these college kids are extremely talented. Wow! Great stuff in the future.

The Annie Show

The Annie Awards was hilarious! The backstage drama alone, could have been its own tv show!!! From missing presenters to opening the wrong “The winner is…” envelope, comedy and awkward moments and comedy ruled the night!
